Beetroot Puttu

Make a smooth beetroot paste by grinding the beetroot without adding water. In a bowl, mix Dr.Bee puttu podi with salt as needed. Add in the beetroot paste in small quantities and wet the powder smoothly without forming lumps.

Fill in a puttu maker with grated coconut and the prepared puttu powder layer by layer.

Boil water in the puttu steamer, place the puttu maker over it and cook the puttu in steam for 5 to 6 minutes. Delicious and healthy beetroot puttu is ready to be enjoyed.

    * 500gm Lulu Italian Penne Pasta.

    * ¼ cup Extra virgin olive oil.

    * 2 Garlic cloves , crushed.

    * 400g Crushed tinned tomatoes.

    * 2 tbsp Chilli flakes.

    * ¼ cup Chopped parsley.

    * ½ cup Parmesan cheese.
