Chicken Curry

Cooking Method

Marinate 1 kg of chicken pieces with 1 tsp of pepper powder, ¾ tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tsp of salt. Set aside for half an hour. Heat 4 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and add 3 medium-sized sliced onions. Saute until it turns light brown. Add 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and stir until the raw smell leaves. Then add 3 tbsp of chilli powder, 4 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of fennel powder and combine everything well for about 2 minutes. Add 2 medium sized ground tomatoes to it and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame. Then add 1 ½ cups of water. When the water boils, add enough salt in the gravy. Add in the marinated chicken and coat it well in the masala. Cover and cook the chicken for about 20 minutes or until it’s cooked well. Turn off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Enjoy the delicious chicken curry hot with the dish of your choice.
